This year Catholic Church Insurances are celebrating our centenary as we embark on our 100th year of serving Church and providing insurance and related services to the Catholic community.
Catholic Church Insurances are one of the oldest and most unique insurance companies in Australia. Existing not to make a profit, but to protect the interests of the Church and to return any surplus made back to the Church community – helping to support the mission of the Church.
Since 1911 we have evolved from simple origins as a company offering fire insurance for Church properties into a diversified general insurance and financial services provider. Today, we provide insurance products to dioceses and religious institutes in Australia, as well as a range of personal insurances to the broader community. We also have a Church-owned investment management service and an administration service for Church superannuation funds.
It is our privilege to have been part of the Catholic Church community in Australia for 100 years. As we celebrate the centenary of Catholic Church Insurances, we look forward to meeting the unique needs of the Church into the future and to ‘Serving Church’ for another century and beyond.
